Last weekend we all had the please of learning together that the tint in the to tinted lip balms was *subtleeee*

Your “natural” shampoo that you buy in the store or online from a fancy online company isn’t really natural.
I’m very sorry to be the bearer of bad news. But it’s actually impossible to make an all natural thick & luxurious shampoo that lathers.

This was a tough pill for me to swallow because I’m kind of determined to make a real shampoo. Even tougher? Most shampoos aren’t really even soap. They’re just a combo of synthetic cleansers called SYNDETs or synthetic detergents.

But I’m really stubborn. And in my brain I’m like: if I can make a nice liquid soap why can’t I adjust it to be a nice shampoo? (Sadly this isn’t possible)

BUT with a lot of education and trial and error I THINK I’be crafted a formulation that has a gentle and cleansing tallow soap base, an amazing jojoba and argan oil combo that is infused with the amazing hair supporting herbs nettles, rosemary, Amala berries and curry leaf and some awesome additions like silk peptides and vitamin B5. And to get the best thickness and lather I can, I’ve chosen ingredients derived from natural ingredients that are safe for use in all natural products and fully biodegradable. I’ve been using it on my own hair for a few days now and my hair is softer, my waves are happy and for the first time I can remember I see lift at my roots.

This has been a journey and I hope if you try it, you’ll love it as much as me! 😅

When I tell you this is a labor of love 😅

Make a fresh batch—well I’m STILL in the process and it’s been more than 8 hours—of liquid tallow soap. It really makes me appreciate living in modern times because I cannot fathom how anyone would have made liquid soap before electricity. Makes me wonder how they washed their hair. I’m guessing herbal rinses of some kind because there’s no way they were using bar soap on their hair unless everyone had dry frizzy hair.

Anyway, this long ramble is just to let you know to keep an eye out for LIQUID TALLOW SHAMPOO in the coming weeks. Super super super excited-as long as this tallow soap plays nicely.

The castille soap is curing much faster than I was anticipating so it should be available by early November!!

You’ll have two options for purchase: 1 gallon buckets w 2TBL scoops for $30 OR you can bring your own container and it will be .15/oz (in weight)

A 1 gallon bucket is about 64 loads, if you use the full 2TBL. I’ve been trial testing the detergent for about a month now and can happily report that it does a great job with all of our clothes-including my husband who works a very wash intensive construction job.

If you will want unscented detergent, you’ll have to pre-order. All other detergent will have a really lovely rosemary lavender (essential oil only) scent. In my opinion, the scent isn’t pronounced on the clothes at all-but I may be nose blind at this point! 😅

Dandelion blossom was the first cold process soap I ever made and I’m brining it back with a few upgrades!
The colors came out exactly how I was hoping and and CAN’T WAIT to cut this into bars later this week!

A fresh batch of lavender magnesium sleep lotion will be in-stock and ready to go home with you this Saturday at Found Fest in Belvidere, Nj. If you haven’t been to Found fest you should check it out! It’s an evening local vendor market right in the heart of Belvidere.
I won’t be back at @eastonfarmersmarket until sept 27 so this is a great opportunity to do something fun this Saturday evening, see me and check out some local vendors that you may not have ever seen before. ❤️

So many new things and fresh restocks today at @eastonfarmersmarket

FINALLY I have a psoriasis balm after receiving so many requests for it over the years!

There’s also a new lotion scent: grapefruit cardamom it’s sweet, spicy and citrusy. ❤️

I also have a limited release soap that might become a staple because I have fallen truly in love with it. Honey & clover. It’s so good!

I’ve updated the smell on the wild violet body butter. It’s now a light lemon rose scent.

And if you’re still clinging to summer I have a few bars left of the Lilac blossom soap.

And finally I have the restock you’ve all been asking for: ginger bergamot is back!

And last but not least there are still some liquid soaps available. I have refills of the lavender bergamot scent and one each of the orange clove, rosemary lemon and lavender bergamot pump bottles but don’t worry! More to come of these! (Including foaming hand soap!)

Just got back from a fantastic trip to #iceland
I love traveling there because I’m always so in awe of the juxtaposition between the rugged beauty of the country and the delicate plants that grow there.
